Cops are hunting a woman who slashed a man across the face with the heel of her shoe at 3 in the morning. The victim was returning home from celebrating his 24th birthday when he saw a young couple arguing in the street in Battlefield last Sunday. The couple near the Battlefield Monument began shouting at the victim who did not know them, claim cops. The female in her 20s and 5'8" was with a man descried as smartly dressed, 5'10" and wearing a 3/4 length jacket and jeans. Cops said: " As he was walking towards the monument, he noticed a couple walking in front of him were having an argument.  A few moments later the man turned to him and started shouting at the victim who did not know the couple or have any idea why they were arguing.  As he tried to walk passed them the woman stuck him in the face with the stiletto heel of her shoes which she was carrying in her hands.The couple then carried on walking and turned right into Millberry Road towards Tesco. The victim managed to make his way to the near-by Victoria Infirmary where he was treated for serious facial injuries". Contact Cathcart police with any information or call the Digger.
