Detectives are investigating an assault on a 23 year-old man who was found in Parkhouse with stab wounds last Wednesday November 30. Officers believe that the man may have been attacked at about 4am. He was found in Kippen Street by a friend who contacted emergency services.  The man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The victim has suffered stab wounds to his chest, back and arm, his condition is described as serious but stable.

Detective Constable Jim Clark said:

“At the moment we don’t know what has happened to this man.  He has suffered serious stab wounds and we need to establish how he came about his injuries.  I would appeal to anyone in the local area who may have heard any sort of disturbance between the hours of midnight and 4am to get in touch with us.”
