Strathclyde Police are investigating a suspicious death after the body of a man was recovered following a flat fire.

Officers are now patrolling the area around the property in Lincoln Avenue, Knightswood, where a body was found last night.

Cops arrived at the property at around 11.55pm on April 11, where they found the body of the man, who is believed to be in his 30's.

A post mortem will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
